Title: RE: [Cooker] KDE 2
The only way I got around it was to reinstall mandrake, (Delete the /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts directory first)
 
Then copy the afore mentioned folder into your home dir, then install KDE2.
 
Reboot.  When it screws up, switch to another terminal (CTRL+ALT+F1 or F2) and log in.  Copy the files back and reboot.
 
All will be well.

Same problem for me, I can't get into X at all : how to fix it ?
Need to reinstall a rpm ?
