Sorry for answering twice, but I recalled of one thing. If I am not not
mixing some past situations, xfs does not write anything to anywhere if
it cannot access /tmp. Even if you set "use-syslog = on". Right now I
cannot experiment with it, but, if I well rememeber this happened two
monthes ago on a 4.0.0.
