Hello, I think kudzu shouldn't be done until the PCMCIA section has been performed. I ran kudzu from the command line and it detected my PCMCIA modem. Every time I boot with the kudzu service set to on I get the message that the serial modem has been removed. Immediately after dropping out of kudzu the PCMCIA module is loaded and the modem comes on line !!! Just a thought, Owen
