[Cooker] Is SMP kernel working?

Hi,

I have attmpted a couple times to install cooker to my machine and each 
time it stoped almost immediately after it stared to boot ... it was 
waiting for something to return?? Sorry but i can't remember the exact 
error. 7.2 installs and runs fine.

I have a dual p3 machine on a gigabyte board with the amd 694 chipset...

Just wondering if anyone else is having any problems installing with the 
SMP kernel ...
