I did it with rpm-4 installed, so I can't tell you it'd work with
rpm-3.x....
Notice that you must have a .config file for the kernel,

So you will need to
A: be current on your kernel comp tools (hint RTFM beginning with the
changes file)
B: minimum either make *config && make dep && make clean or grab a
.config from a
matching mandrake kernel (location of said file(s) AnyDrake??)
