Ack. I just upgraded my work machine from 7.2 to 8.0 beta. Everything looks
good (my Radeon card is finally supported!), but there's no networking.

I can ping the eth0 address and the loopback. The tulip driver is loaded,
etc. The light's on on the switch.

I've been a sysadmin for 7 years. I definitely know something is wrong with
the driver.

I'll do more diagnostics to find out. (Like use the old 2.2.19 kernel in the
meantime!)

One more bug--it's not major. /etc/rc.d/rc2.d/K50inet still remains and
points to /etc/rc.d/init.d/inet which no longer exists. No big deal. I just
thought I'd point it out.

Thanks for everything, gentlemen (and ladies, too). For a beta, it looks good
(except this one major showstopper!).
