No, it's opengl and /dev/nvidia* permissions. Under root all is OK.
To fix, remove "nvidia*" from <dri>=... line in /etc/security/console.perms, reboot
and execute makedevices.sh from driver tarball.
Who added nvidia* into pam? Please fix it back.
