Beware, a Ramdisk install is performed with "hd.img" if you have more than
52 Mbytes of memory, whatever partition you're using, handling symlinks or
not.

So you need to use a NFS install with what Pixel said; or regenerate the
ramdisk each time (very annoying) ("make stage2" in gi/perl-install).
