And also in how the partitions are created.
If during partitioning Win2K is included as part of the 
linux extended partition it will not be bootable.

I have always used either PM or SC to set my partition structure
prior to installation and run the installation in Expert mode using
diskdrake only to format said partitions.

I have run a dual boot Win2k with no problem and I am currently running
a system on which I dual boot WinXP RC2 and the 8.1 Beta.
