I did the rpm --rebuild already - tried the urpmi command with the
following results:

[root@localhost rfox]# urpmi.update -a -c -f -f
retrieving description file of "Installation CD (ftp1)"...
...retrieving done
retrieving source hdlist (or synthesis) of "Installation CD (ftp1)"...
...retrieving done
retrieve of [<source_url>/../base/hdlist.cz] failed
no hdlist file found for medium "Installation CD (ftp1)"
retrieving description file of "Contrib CD (ftp2)"...
...retrieving done
retrieving source hdlist (or synthesis) of "Contrib CD (ftp2)"...
...retrieving done
retrieve of [<source_url>/../base/hdlist2.cz] failed
no hdlist file found for medium "Contrib CD (ftp2)"

This was after a FRESH install!!
