Was not my intention to be mean so I'm sorry if it seemed so.  I know developers put in a staggering amount of time into app development, most times without even a thank you for their trouble.  I appreciate ALL work being done on Linux and Open Source in General but as I said, some developers want to hear from you more than others, which is their right.

Jason

Please don't be to mean about this man ! He has responded to bugs I submitted
in previous versions, but said at the time that, like all of us no doubt, he
was trying to juggle 1001 things and gFTP didn't always get the time he would
like.

Thanks and I agree with you and usually send bug reports to the app
developer but my experience with gFTP's developer regarding bugs has not
been good. He seems not to want to hear about them so I just stopped
sending them direct, preferring to go through the cooker team....who of
course are ALL nice people. ;-)

Totally concur. Have been using it for a while and it is a GREAT client
but it does have a few bugs which seem to persist version after version.
I didn't pay for it so I aint' complaining! If I knew how to write
code I'd fix it myself, as I don't, I keep my mouth shut for the most
part (except for the cooker list of course =)
Well bug reporter is developers best friend ;) So If you found a bug it
is much better to fill bug report and complain. But you should also send
this bug report to the author if this bug is not mandrake specific.
