test_:8e:8f:88:9a:9f:8a.txt And in /var/log/messages I have: Jan 17 00:25:19 gandalf afpd[15739]: /usr/etc/netatalk/nls/maccode.iso8859-1: failed to open codepage (Inside is the string "Ceci est un test ιθΰφόδ", which incidentally appears as "ceci est un test " in vim, nedit and kedit) Hope this helps On Wed, 16 Jan 2002, Stew Benedict wrote: > > On Wed, 16 Jan 2002, Tomas Perez wrote: > > > for Mandrake). netatalk uses some weird encoding for accentuated > > characters in filenames by default and one easy way to correct this is > > to use > > > > ~ options:noadouble, mswindows > > ^^^^^^^^^ this option > > > > I'll recheck the source tree and see if this file can be included.
