The ES1371 sucks anyway, I replaced mine with a Yamaha-based (YMF744B) card (AOpen AW744) and never looked back. It uses much less CPU than the Ensonique, never locks up, produces cleaner sound, and has an extra 2 channels if I ever want them. Not an excuse for the driver not working, but it _is_ a possible solution. (-: Cheers; Leon
