[19:33 peter@penguin:~]$ country ro Country 2 letter 3 letter Number --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Romania ro rom 642 Well after some searching, I finally found this app on Freashmeat: http://freshmeat.net/projects/countrycodes/ It simply uses a makefile, and then drops this little binary into /usr/local/bin: iso3166 Rename it to country, and you have it.
