Not at all.  It re-creates the same dangling link to itself.  i.e.
.DCOPserver_bigpimp.sbcglobal.net_:0 is linked to
/home/justin/.DCOPserver_bigpimp.sbcglobal.net_:0

It's a very strange bug...
