Hi, i recently install B3 on three different machine. I selected French (LANG and keyboard) and i have no euro symbol under KDE or GNOME. When i pressed ALT-GR E, i obtain "?". I tried to modify kde and kword configuration but nothing can do the trick. The symbol is ok on Beta 2 (except inside a terminal). It is stange because emacs has no problem to display it. Nobody as reported it yet, so is it only for me ?
I also have a question. Will it be possible for kword to reflect the coding selected at install instead of the ISO-8859-2 used by default ? Thanks, Olivier PS : Below you will find what locale said on BETA2 and BETA3 (small difference) BETA 2 on a desktop diorite:~>locale LANG=fr LC_CTYPE=fr_FR LC_NUMERIC=fr_FR LC_TIME=fr_FR LC_COLLATE=fr_FR LC_MONETARY=fr_FR LC_MESSAGES=fr_FR LC_PAPER="fr" LC_NAME="fr" LC_ADDRESS="fr" LC_TELEPHONE="fr" LC_MEASUREMENT="fr" LC_IDENTIFICATION="fr" LC_ALL= On beta 3 on a laptop vivian@vivian03:~>locale LANG=fr_FR LC_CTYPE=fr_FR LC_NUMERIC=fr_FR LC_TIME=fr_FR LC_COLLATE=fr_FR LC_MONETARY=fr_FR LC_MESSAGES=fr_FR LC_PAPER="fr_FR" LC_NAME="fr_FR" LC_ADDRESS="fr_FR" LC_TELEPHONE="fr_FR" LC_MEASUREMENT="fr_FR" LC_IDENTIFICATION="fr_FR" LC_ALL=
