Hmmm. Corruption with reiserfs, xfs _and_ ext3, but not on the old ext2 install. If the filesystem code were that buggy, we'd see a slew of posts here and on other developer lists. It sounds like it might be a localised hardware problem. -- Hoyt http://www.maximumhoyt.com
