If this has been brought up, I appologize. I haven't been reading the list recently.
Here's the problem: I have cooker and contrib local on my hard drive. recently I tried to install something but urpmi thinks that the medium is removable. It unmounts the partition and then complains that it can't find the packages. Here is the output: [root@mercury root]# urpmi kde3-koffice eject: unable to eject, last error: Input/output error Please insert the medium named "Contrib" on device [/dev/hda11] Press Enter when it's done... What determines what is removable and what is not? here is the mount point in /etc/fstab: /dev/hda11 /local reiserfs notail 1 2 -Dave
