After test, it works fine, your problem was reproduced and I know why even I 
don't know how to fix it actually:

lineakd create a ~/.lineak/lineakd.pid to store his pid, lineakconfig read it 
to do a 'kill -1' on daemon on apply/OK. Unfortenally, after one or two kill 
- -HUP, or some second of running, don't exactly, lineakd delete this file.

I you use only one time Apply on lineakconfig, all works fine.
