| Why scannerdrake don't do it ? | Because, they try to run it with an argument, such as xsane snapscan:/dev/sg? Which works for xsane, but doesn't work for Gimp, Kooka, saned etc which scan devices at startup. Please can this be fixed???? And, the adding of the backend to /etc/sane.d/dll.conf? Then, maybe on the next release we can try and get saned to work out the box also (this is a killer application of sane, use it to share a scanner out to all windows and linux machines).
