There Development/Dependencies list the require for the specific version omniORB 3.0 -- A C++ ORB (Object Request Broker). But at some point efforts will have to be made to diminish the sheer amount of space which Mandrake encompasses on it's host servers. We can not continue to add 'new' pkgs in perpetuity without at some point being required to remove 'old' pkgs.
