2) seems to be due to type-ahead find, and when it happens, you can't type in the url bar. Don't know what triggers it. Then, there is also this one in mail 3)Keyboard shortcut for "mark all as read" (CTRL-SHIFT-C) doesn't work. Guess I need a bugzilla account at mozilla ;-).
