Actually, I spoke too soon. I switched to zh_CN temporarily
to workaround the problem. If I move to the default
mandrake set up it still seems to break.
As of XFree86-4.3-0.20030224.1mdk,
/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/locale/zh_CN.UTF-8 still doesn't contain
the file XI18N_OBJS

from zh_CN to zh_CH.UTF-8
