------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2003-03-03 22:13 -------
Actually, further use has confirmed a different problem instead of the original
one.

IE/Windows 5.5 has problems with the new bug process. I can enter new bugs
through Mozilla/Windows just fine. And in plain http, at that.

Especially with RC2 coming out, this is a bit of a problem. I use my Windows
session to be able to continue to log bugs, etc. even if my Linux partition
becomes hopelessly unrepairable.

There is a constant JavaScript error signalled on every page in both IE and
Mozilla ("document.forms.f has no properties"). Since it appears that Bugzilla
replies on JavaScript to post a bug and redirect the user to a confirmation
page, it would indicate that there may be other problems with JS.

I was able to post bugs up through this morning (European time). I can still
enter additional comments to exisiting bugs in IE.

description:
I've entered three new bug reports for 9.1 RC1 using the non-https bugzilla and
all three have not appeared. They seem to fill out okay, but after clicking on
the commit button, you are taken to the page where you would normally receive
the new bug number, but there isn't a bug number displayed. The new reports do
not appear in the "My Bugs" query or in manual searches, either. Submitting a
bug report using the https bugzilla still works as expected.
