It's not that bad. The kettle I have has an elongated spout that I line up
with the pour spout on the glass press. Start pouring and I just judge the
fullness by the sound. As it gets fuller the sound changes. I have gotten to
the point where I pretty much judge the amount of water to boil exactly, so
I usually never over fill. On occasion I do under fill though. But that just
gives me an excuse to make another pot. <Grin>

I wouldn't want to fuss with trying to pour boiling water into a coffee
maker.

Keith the french press how does that work? I put four heaping scoops of
coffee in my coffee maker but I was wondering if you make it the same
way or
what? How much quicker it would be just to put coffee grounds in a pot
and
then boiling water and press and done. A talking coffee maker would be
rather nice as I can preset the timer to go off as I'm taking my dog out
and
come back to a nice hot pot of coffee. mmmm good for these cold winters.

I had to think about this one for a few minutes as well. <grin>.

I can only assume that it is an automatic coffee maker that you can set
the start time and other functions using voice feedback.

I prefer my French press to an ADC style coffee maker. But I suppose
that this could be useful.
