I have one in a drawer somewhere too. I used it for about a week, then the
novelty wore off and I found that my finger works just as good. I have
gotten to the point where a little scald stops hurting after a bit. I know
an electrician that gets zapped with 110 all the time and he just shakes it
off. He always tells me, "Man up!"

I have a South African style curry recipe that I need to dig out and post.
It's different from most Indian curry recipe's and I think it should go over
well. I know that everyone I serve it to loves it. Will post on the morrow.

Keith

the thing that you are refering to is a level indecator. a local rehab
centre should sell them like the CNIB up in Canada. the NFB should sell them

as well in their store. I'm not sure if they make ones with different
measurements but the older ones have two sides that you can put in the cup
so if you want a half cup then you put the longer progns in and if you want
a full cup or almost full then you put the shorter prongs in. The only
downside to having one of these is if you have a small cup you get to have
less liquid in it. I personally don't use one anymore.

I have a safe little device that I don't know the real name for it, but,
it has two little prongs on one side of it, with a nine volt battery
attached on the other side. You hang the wire prongs over the cup, glass,
pitcher or what ever, and when liquid, hot or cold , is poured into it,
and, it reaches the tip of the prongs on the inside of the item your filling
a high pitch will beep to let you know it is full enough and not to add any
more. They have been around for years, as mine is a old one but still
works great, if I use it, which isn't real often any more. This keeps from
over filling, and under filling also. HTH Katie
