This is a tried recipe. Fast fudge 1 stick butter 3 cups chocolate chips (I used broken up chocolate bars, the amount came to 20 ounces of chocolate rather than 18) 1 14-ounce can sweetened condensed milk Cook ingredients in a microwave for five minutes total, stirring mixture every two minutes. Pour in an 8-inch square pan and refrigerate. I would recommend melting the ingredients on medium power, and checking more frequently, every 20 to 30 seconds. I spread the melted mixture in a 9-inch square pan lined with greased foil, and refrigerated for at least 4 hours. -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Claudia Sent: Sunday, December 20, 2009 6:01 PM To: [email protected]; Colleen Subject: Re: [CnD] Fudge?
Thanks, I didn't know that; I just thought it wouldn't taste as good as what gets made, over the stove. Sorry! Bring on some microwave fudge recipes then; I would definitely appreciate them & plan to try one or two this week.
