Butter by itself has a tendency to burn.
But if you add just a little (maybe a teaspoon or so) oil with the butter,
it isn't supposed to burn.

but they have this spray stuff that you can spray in the water and it will

Also don't boil to fast. Rice will come out fine even when boiled slowly.
