She probably just doesn't like them on PB&J sandwiches. I haven't tried this yet, but have been meaning to buy the ready made rolled out pie crusts, cut them into squares, drop some fruit or jelly filling in the middles of the squares, fold over and seal. Maybe if I do that and bake them, they would turn out like little pastries and I wouldn't need to use any fancy pan, just a cookie sheet.
