I've been thinking of bringing this subject up for a while myself. Mine went out 2 weeks, it was 17 years old. I'm wondering if the talking ones last any longer than the regular ones. I rely on Braille, so I'd like to find one that has the Braille panel already made for it. I'm thinking Sears has such, but I don't know which make or model. It's probably easier to just create my own labels. What do people think of my philosophy that the talking ones may not last as long as the regular microwaves that can be Brailled? Sorry if I started a controversy here. Thanks for any input. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Dixie" <[email protected]>

Subject: [CnD] Talking microwaves?

Well, the world's oldest microwave is on its last legs. I have had this
microwave for 27 years this month! I guess it is time to bite the bullet
and venture out and purchase a new one?

So, can you all give me advice and information about the talking microwave
that I have seen mentioned here in the past?

Thanks so much,

Dixie
