Jane, LocDots should work just fine for your dial. Just about any place where you buy braille supplies will have them. They are dots you peel off and stick onto a surface. There are different sizes. You would probably need the small ones for this purpose. Put a dot at 300 degrees, one at 350, another at 400 and the last at 450. Those are the most common temperatures used. If the dial has a pointer, you can line the pointer up with each dot when you need a specific temperature. If it doesn't have a pointer, then put a single LocDot on the dial, which can then be lined up with the ones at 300, 350, 400 or 450. I hope that made sense. It sounded pretty muddled to me, and I'm the one who wrote it!
