Hi,

I am currently cooking a roast in the oven. I bought a roasting bag, mixed up a pot roast seasoning & water, put peeled potatoes and baby carrots, as well as onions, in the bag around the roast, and put it in the oven, at 325 degrees. The button has popped out of the middle, but it doesn't feel fork-tender, when I use a fork on it!
It's about a 3 & 3 quarter pound roast!
The button popped out of the middle, after hour number 3, but as I stated, it doesn't feel tender, so I put it back in, and it's been about another 30 minutes now.

I don't have a talking kitchen thermometer, so how will I know when it's done?

I believe it's bottom round roast!
And finally, how do I carve it; this is honestly my first time making a roast!

Claudia
