Hello all, My name is Earl, I am from Tennessee.
My mom used to make these peanut butter cheerio snacks all the time. They are easy to make and delicious. Ingredients: 1 cup sugar 1 cup kayro syrup (corn syrup) 1 cup peanut butter 4 cups cheerio's Directions: In a 2 quart saucepan, add sugar and corn syrup. Turn the stove to medium heat, stirring constantly for 5 minutes until the sugar is dissolved. The mixture will start to boil and become easy to stir. Remove from heat and add the peanut butter and stir it around a few times. Then add the cheerio's and mix around to cover them well. Place wax paper on a cookie sheet and spoon the coated cheerio's onto the wax paper and let cool. "the boiling of the sugar and corn syrup will not sound like water boiling, so I go for 5 minutes." "you might want to have the wax paper on the cookie sheet before starting, because you don't want the mixture to set very long." Serving size: Depends on the size of your spoon Enjoy them, Earl _______________________________________________ Cookinginthedark mailing list [email protected] http://acbradio.org/mailman/listinfo/cookinginthedark
