I reposted the recipe out of courtesy not because I felt that it was listed
wrong in the original posting. I was under the assumption that any
experienced cook would know that hot dog chili was to be used on hot dogs
and that the mention of hot dog wieners would indicate how many hot dogs the
chili would cover. I still believe that the original recipe was as simple
as it needed to be. Mike

How is it clearly the case?
I have counted, besides me, three people who have requested this recipe be
named correctly, titled correctly, and listed with proper instructions, and
proper ingredients.
Apparently you missed that Mike reposted this recipe with all of those
things being taken care of.

In the recipe being discussed, that is clearly not the case, as you would
realize based on the responses from me and others that you have gotten, and
I don't know how much more clearly our posts can be.

seen have spelling errors, missing quantities, and possibly missing
ingredients. They do not appear to be professionally written. So, no, if an
item is not in the ingredients list and it is mentioned in the title, that
does not mean that it is the use of that recipe. It quite possibly could
have been forgotten in the ingredients list, or the instructions.

You can tell by the recipe what it is for or what is in it. Rattlesnake or
venison chili does contain those two ingredients, which will be shown by
reading the recipe. But if an ingredient that is mentioned in the title is
not one of the ingredients, common sense dictates that the recipe is to be
used in conjunction with that item, which is the case in this instance.

Which doesn't make sense at all. If it was meant that you should put this on
hot dog buns, Then it should have said that.

is used as a condiment, as relish, mustard, cheese, or whatever goes with
hot-dogs.
