Without knowing the recipe, people won't be able to tell you whether they
have made it or not. If they have made divinity, it may have been by using
a different recipe than the one you have. Although your message is very
vague, I'm pretty sure that if the recipe calls for "sugar", without any
specification, it means granulated sugar.
