For Torte: In medium bowl, blend together Ghirardelli Ultimate Fudge Brownie Mix, water, oil and egg until moistened (about 40 strokes). Spoon batter into parchment lined or greased, 8-inch round cake pan. Bake 40-45 minutes. Cool 10 minutes and invert onto serving plate. Warm fudge topping by placing unopened pouch in hot tap water for 4-5 minutes. Remove from water and squeeze pouch 4-5 times to soften topping. Cut top off topping pouch and squeeze onto warm torte. Gently smooth over top and sides of torte. For White Chocolate Ganache: Place chips and cream in small microwave-safe bowl. Microwave on MEDIUM (50%) for 1 minute; stir until chocolate is melted. Drizzle over torte, or follow suggestion below to create a snowflake design. To create a snowflake design, place ganache in piping bag with fine tip or sturdy plastic freezer bag. If using a freezer bag, fill with ganache and snip the corner of the bag (the smaller the opening, the finer the detail you can create). Draw several circles on top of torte. Starting at center of torte, use a toothpick to draw a line from the center of the torte to the outside edge. Repeat, starting from the outside edge toward the center. Continue drawing alternating lines to create a snowflake pattern. Enjoy. _______________________________________________ Cookinginthedark mailing list [email protected] http://acbradio.org/mailman/listinfo/cookinginthedark
