For the person who asked how one knows when something is cooked, with both vision and hearing impairment, the best way is to use a method of time. You need to determine how long and at what temperature the item (chicken, beef, etc.) takes and you can pretty much be assured that if you cook at the designated temperature at a specific amount of tiem it will be done. For ex. Chicken baking at 350 will be done in 45 minutes-no doubt.
On the George Foremand you can determine how long everything takes-when I make bacon on it I cook for 5 minutes Hope that helps. _______________________________________________ Cookinginthedark mailing list [email protected] http://acbradio.org/mailman/listinfo/cookinginthedark
