Can you make a layered casserole in the crock pot? I want to do meatballs,

I know that sometimes I want to transfer chopped onion to a ziplock one
quart bag, and it is a little bit of a challenge, as the opening is not as
wide as some other bags, but I put it into a bowl, and do my best.
