so excuse my ignorance, so would I buy brown rice? Usually, I buy regular rice, if that is the case I would think there is a difference. The ratio does it make a difference between medium grain and extra long grain?

Peace
Luis

Hi every one,
For the one requesting a repost on cooking brown rice: you really don't need a recipe. Just remember two things: the ratio of water to brown rice is three to one (3 cups water to 1 cup brown rice). The cooking time is 45 minutes. You can use broth for the liquid and add other seasonings if you wish. Hope this helps.
