I actually used more than 2/3 cup of water because I didn't think that was enough either. I think I put in 1 cup. There were some stuck together clumps of rice but you could fluff it with a fork. But it was certainly good enough to try again.

What is the consistancy of the rice when it is done?
Is it really soft?
2/3 cup of water isn't very much.
