I dont htink just symbolik links would solve the problem. We would need mounts
to make it transparent and some storage in the filesystem to know what we are
supposed to do with the mounts.
I was going to go with the second option -- parsing for query on every path
which does seem like a bad idea. The syntax right now is a little ambiguous and
has implicit asusmptiosn about the har filesystem. I was trying to get rid of
the implicit assumption.
