why without password? I would assume that you have to configure the password in the ME settings. You have to assume the usual environment where AMT is used: The device proprietor has a fleet of them in their office; they configure AMT once so its able to access their network; from then on, they can manage the devices remotely. That's the basic idea and I don't see why one wouldn't be able to set a WiFi password. Maybe that's the point of confusion: That things are hidden from the host OS doesn't mean that they are hidden from the device' adminis- trator.
