Just a quick note that our society basically has the technology to automatically reimplement binary blobs as differently licensed source. Somebody simply needs to design and train appropriate translation models between interfaces, behavior, and data. Actually doing that would come down to harsh and difficult politics, of course, so it could be quite some time before it happens, during which laws may change. >
