*Job Title: HCM SAP BASIS Consultant* *Job Location: Plano, TX* *Job Description:* · The HCM SAP BASIS Consultant is responsible for performing hands-on technical tasks on the HCM systems, which include (but are not limited to): · Performing System refreshes for Mock cutovers on multiple SAP components · Performing fresh installs of SAP and related 3rd-party software · Installing Enhancement Packs/Support Packs/Kernel Upgrades as required by customer. · Support all phases of testing, such as system, performance, ORT, UAT, HA/DR, mocks, etc. · Support during technical cutovers and code promotion. · SAP integration with other systems · Coordinating with different teams to address and resolve issues or problems. · Establish and maintain Backup/Recovery requirements · Disaster Recovery Plan support · Problem resolution during development, rollout and production cutover support. · Utilizing Change Management to make changes. · Proof of concepts for customers. This person is expected to have significant Basis experience in HCM and at least 2 of the following SAP components:, ECC 6.0, BI 7.0, CRM 2007, SCM 4.1/ICH 5.0, SRM 4.0, XI/PI 7.1, EP 7.0, CE 7.1, NetWeaver 2004S, SolMan, CUA. This position is also responsible for any other external and middleware software integration requirements for customer, such as BSI, PGP, HP/OMS (print/FAX), imaging, monitoring, Control-M, etc. The position will also interface heavily with other IT Infrastructure teams such as hardware, security, network and database support for planning and troubleshooting. The position will also interface heavily with process and application teams, such as cutover, development, application support and other functional teams. *Job Qualifications - Competencies: * Must have hands-on experience in an AIX & DB2 environment Ability to work directly with multiple teams under stressful situations Ability to solve complex application problems through experience, research and technical detective work Broad technical and IT knowledge required Collaboration Skills/Partnering/Facilitation Skills are required Ability to learn new technologies and processes quickly Ability to quickly adapt to changes in timelines and sequences. Minimum of 6 years of experience in IT; Minimum of 5 years of hands-on SAP Basis experience. Familiarity with transports and the SAP methodology for migrations is required.
