Major in Computer Science or Engineering is preferred. Masters degree in Information Systems or Engineering is preferred OR relevant technical training OR equivalent work experience. * Prefer 6 years experience with SAP products. Minimum 4 years of relevant SAP experience required. * Minimum of 2 years experience with BW 3.5 or higher is required. BW 7.0 experience is preferred. * Reporting tools, Business Objects or Crystal Reports are highly desired * Experience with ABAP and Basis also desired. Experience in the FI-CO subject area is a plus. * Experience leading mid-size to large BI development projects required. * Experience in data warehouse modeling and design required. * Experience with project management, product development life-cycle word processing, spreadsheet, and a groupware tool is needed. Project lifecycle methodology expertise required, ASAP methodology preferred. * Able to identify and discuss client expectations as relevant to own area and monitor and report on delivery of what was promised. * Able to identify and document specific problems and resolution alternatives and describe a specific problem and offering the perspective of each involved stakeholder. * Able to gain agreement on the problem-solving process, risk assessment, decision points, and criteria. * Experienced in analyzing daily problems for trends and taking steps to avoid recurrence. * Experience in reporting Performance tuning is a must. * Experience with test plan creation, Performance/Load/Stress/Automated testing of BI warehouses, Test report and Test result analysis * Experience in dealing with multiple projects and cross-functional teams, managing multiple tasks/assignments with staggered due dates and deadlines through effective time management skills. * Ability to function and interact across teams in a large matrix organization to execute multiple tasks/assignments simultaneously with input from several resources. * Ability to apply technical skills with effective verbal and written communication is a must. * Ability to identify and communicate issues/risks applying technical and root cause analysis skills is a must. * Ability to conduct technical discussions directly with Project/Product management and clients is a must. * Must be a self motivated and pro-active BI technical leader and possess a strong decision making, problem solving and analytical skills * Strong written and oral communication skills required (English) Ability to maintain confidential nature related to the firm’s financial and management data * * *Requirement-2)* *Title: SAP BI ANALYST* *Location: NASHVILLE, TN * *Duration: 6 months* *Description:* · Participate in the development and support of reporting solutions within Client and its subsidiaries, primarily using SAP Business Warehouse (BI) application. · Work from functional/technical specifications to develop web based reports using HTML and JavaScript. · Integration with SAP BI queries developed using SAP BI tools such as Business Explorer (BEx) and Web Application Designer is required. · Work with SAP Portal team to link reports to Firm Information Portal as required. Work with the SAP BI database modeling team members to communicate report requirements and test data modeling changes. Analyze SAP Business Content components when delivered for relevance to Clientand its subsidiaries projects including initiation of new projects. Document test plans and complete Unit Testing of developed reports. · Work with Quality Assurance resources to complete System and Integration Testing. Analyze and communicate report development issues, including problems with data integrity, data design, and functional and technical software issues. · Understand the organization’s business systems, accounting practices, and reporting systems. Consult with end users, subject matter experts, and project team members to gather, interpret, and document reporting requirements and resolve complex design issues impacting reports. · Report status, communicate project issues, and participate in project meetings as required. Qualifications: · Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Business Information Systems preferred OR relevant technical training OR equivalent work experience. · Minimum of 2 years experience with web development including HTML and JavaScript is required. 2-4 years experience with SAP Business Warehouse 3.5 or higher is preferred. · Experience with multi-dimensional/relational data models and a general data warehouse concept is beneficial.
