Location: Pasadena, CA Duration: Long Term Skills: *Essential Function* – Network Security Design and Maintenance *Key Tasks* - IDS code upgrade and tuning (SourceFire), packet analysis, bi-annual span review and documentation maintenance. - Upgrades as suitable for OWB active perimeter defense (Forescout), bi-annual span review and documentation maintenance. - Security consultation and design recommendations to IT Network Operations team. - Maintains close partnership with IT Network Operations providing security consultation and design recommendations in projects as well as through tactical response. - Nightly firewall change review (TACACS+ and Sharepoint) as well as documenting quarterly reviews. - Web proxy maintenance and management (Symantec Web Gateway). - IOS baseline compliance and Cisco product incident response - Threat modeling (Red Seal) maintenance and model improvement. *Incident Handling* - Among the tier two escalation engineers for malware/virus incidents and network intrusion attempts involving investigation, research, monitoring and remediation of the incidents. - Support EIS lab for use in testing, malware investigation, etc. - Support forensics requests from HR. - Maintain threat intelligence via industry sources FS-ISAC, NIST, etc., analyze relative to OWB impact and make recommendations to management. *Minimum Qualifications * Must have experience with standard security practices, including: –network architecture, routing, and TCP/IP protocols; –firewalls, routers, switch, sniffers and intrusion detection/intrusion prevention systems; –virtual private networks and remote access systems; –public key infrastructure, encryption, and digital certificates; –Distributed denial of service attacks; –Digital forensic process and procedures. –Strong project management skills as well as knowledge of the principles and methods used in the analysis of information security, systems and procedures. *More Description* – Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) – Certified Information Security Auditor (CISA) – Certified Ethical Hacker Must have general experience with standard security practices in the following areas: – Network Security and Firewalls – User Access Administration – Database Management – Data Encryption – Log Collection and Event Monitoring – Vulnerability Management – Penetration Testing – Data Privacy, Loss Prevention – Application Security best practices, including Web and client-server – Application Authentication and Authorization – System Development best practices – Change Management – Incident Response Planning – Business Continuity Planning – Disaster Recovery Thanks & Regards….
