• Advanced knowledge of application, data and infrastructure architecture 
disciplines
• Understanding of architecture and design across all systems  
• Working proficiency in developmental toolsets
• Ability to collaborate with high-performing teams and individuals 
throughout the firm to accomplish common goals
• Proficiency in one or more general purpose programming languages 
including Core Java and Java Script
• 5+ years of experience with current web technologies: JavaScript 
(including MVC and Flux design patterns used in Single Page Apps), HTML5, 
CSS preprocessors (SASS and/or LESS) and font icons, at least two modern 
web frameworks (Angular, Backbone, Ember, React, Polymer, etc), and 
front-end build tools (Grunt and/or Gulp).
• Experience building UI for eCommerce and/or Digital Wallet applications 
leveraging modern front end technologies
• Experience working with large scale UI applications with a focus on 
optimizing front end performance
• Understanding of software skills such as business analysis, development, 
maintenance and software improvement 
• Demonstrated front and backend hands-on experience 
• Core Java and Spring Framework experience is required, as well as ability 
to write Junit code
• Experience with JavaScript ( ES6 ) language fundamentals and experience 
with Ember JS, Angular JS, jQuery or any modern JS framework and a working 
understanding of HTML5 and CSS3.
• Ability to debug event based, DOM and UI related code using browser and 
other JS tools and deliver secure, efficient, high performing and stable 
code that meets or exceeds business needs and all bank technology standards 
for applications
• Deep understanding of JS beyond libraries or frameworks (i.e. Plain 
JavaScript, not just jQuery / Angular)  
• Hands on knowledge of jQuery and JS frameworks / libraries like Angular, 
React, Ember et. al.  
• Good understanding about NPM and ES2016  
• Build tool libraries such as Grunt, Gulp or Webpack  
• Test libraries like Karma, Jasmine, Mocha, Protractor or Night watch  
• Java script IDE Visual Studio Code, Atom, Sublime Text or WebStorm
• Solid knowledge of CSS (Box model, CSS selector priority and so on)  
• CSS Pre-Processors like SASS, LESS, ETC  
• HTML5 and Semantic markup  
• Code versioning tools (GIT)  
• Be able to show what you've built via GitHub, Bitbucket, CodePen, or a 
personal portfolio site.
