Since I'm trying to practise the passive voice in English at the moment, I'd like to ask you all for some help. I've just created a list of simple senteces in the active voice and would like you to put them into the passive using all possible ways.
 
Example:
  • Active:     Mary gave Jim a new car. [= Mary gave a new car to Jim.]
  • Passive:
    • 1. A new car was given to Jim by Mary.
    • 2. Jim was given a new car by Mary.
    • ...
Mary is doing homework for Jim. Homework is being done for Jim by Mary. Jim is being done homework by Mary.
Jim is buying her a present at the moment. A present is being bought for her by Jim at the moment. She is being bought a present by Jim.
Jim and Mary are spending the weekend in the mountains. The weekend is being spent by Jim and Mary in the mountains.
They are not going to watch TV. TV is not going to be watched by them.
Henry is speaking to Jim, but Jim doesn't hear him. Jim is being spoken to by Gwen, but she isn't heard by him.
Henry is saying clever words to Jim. Clever words are being said to Jim by Henry. Jim is being said clever words by Henry.
Who is knocking at the door? Who is the door being knocked at by?
Who is eating my soup? Who is my soup being eaten by?
Who is giving Jim so much money? Who is so much money being given to Jim by? Who is Jim being given so much money by?
Who is phoning us next time? Who are we being phoned by?
What am I telling you all the time? What is being told to you by me all the time? What are you being told by me all the time?
What are you playing for him? What is being played for him by you? What is he being played by you?
Who are we writing the test with? Who is the test being written by us with?
What is Frank going to kill her with? What is she going to be killed by Frank with?
What aren't we going to pay for the dinner without? What isn't the dinner going to be payed for by us without?
