I have two 5 gallon cans at the Hangar with ground wires. BUT this is also true if your using can for Auto, Lawn mower, and etc. It only takes once. Then you would believe. wdh Subject: RE: [COUPERS] Grounding Plastic Gas "Cans" - Plastic containers are not exempt from static electricity. And a ground line, while not absolutely necessary (as long as the spout remains in contact so as to ground it), is not a bad idea. Simple and cheap insurance if you use a can to re-fuel.
