Thanks one and all for your comments. I was told that the Poly Fiber chemicals containing MEK, would eat up the foam and synthetic fiber brushes. A roller, now that is promising. It would sure make putting a wet coat down for a tape easy. The instructions call for applying Poly Brush by brush, and using a brush to apply the tapes. Only when these steps are completed, do you spray 2 more coats of Poly Brush. The instructions warn against spraying too early since it is possible to fail the weave of the cloth up. I thought I had gotten all the loose bristles, then I sprayed my silver. OUCH trapped like bugs in amber there are my missed bristles. If anyone comments I shall say they are static discharge wicks built into the finish.
